In 1963 Nathan R. Miller acquired his first office building in Greater Boston.  He went on to purchase eleven more office buildings. Over the years he sold those eleven buildings but retained his first acquisition,
The Gem on the Hill, Six Beacon Street.

Today, his daughter, Barbara Sidel with her husband, Peter manage and operate this eleven story 90,000 square foot office building. They are assisted by Angie O’Keefe as the onsite property manager. The communication services and marketing are the work of Nathan’s granddaughter, Wendy Tulman.

Under the next generation of management, Six Beacon Street has undergone a multi-million dollar renovation from the street to the suites of the building. The Gem on the Hill is a well preserved asset to Boston’s Beacon Hill business community.
